The Glory of God
Let all things be done for the Glory of God and nothing for vain glory.
Lift up His Standard and seek to do His will, and not your own.
For His Ways are far better than having things your own way.
The glory of man is like the flower of the grass, here today and gone tomorrow.
The Glory of God will never pass away, but will endure for all generations.
Rarely is anything done by men for the Glory of God.
Yet those rare work's remembrance passes from generation to generation.
Do not reason, as many have done, that it is easy to acquire glory in Heaven.
You may have to labor for years to accomplish a single act of glory for God.
This is why patience in the greatest of all virtues.
